Embrane, a provider of application-centric network services, and Long View, a provider of IT consulting, outsourcing solutions and cloud services, recently announced that they have entered into a channel partnership that will operate in the Canadian market.
Though the partnership, Long View – which previously used Embrance’s products as part of its public cloud service – will be able to bring agility, operational simplicity and cost savings to Canadian enterprises.
“Long View continually strives to stay ahead of the technology curve and find innovative solutions that add the most value possible for our customers,” said Craig Cook, chief architect of cloud services, Long View. “We rigorously assess and test any new product we make available to our customers to ensure it meets the high standard of excellence we have already established with those customers. The Embrane platform provides clear benefits to our customers looking for agile network services for their data centers, and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with them.”
The two companies will work together to offer joint solutions based on Embrane’s networking products. With the addition of Embrane to its portfolio, Long View will now be able to offer its clients network services like firewalls, VPNs and load balancers to enterprises on a per-application basis.
“There’s no greater validation of our application-centric networking solutions than when a customer uses it, sees the benefit, and agrees to resell it to their customers,” said Susheel Chitre, VP of business development and strategic alliances, Embrane. “Long View is one of the industry’s premier IT consulting and networking solution providers, and we are proud to partner with them to bring our solutions to market in Canada.”
