AudienceView, a Toronto-based provider of e-commerce software for the events and entertainment industries, announced today that it will be using a software-as-a-service model to market its products.
The first of these solutions, AV Pro, will now be available to AudienceView clients under a fixed monthly subscription plan, which includes initial setup and upgrades.
AV Pro provides clients with ticketing and e-commerce capabilities, as well as fundraising, CRM, content management, marketing, and analytics. The product enables clients to be in complete control of their business processes without having to turn to a third parties that might overcharge on fees or control their data.
“There are…many organizations that would reap huge benefits by using AudienceView to create operational efficiency, drive growth, achieve new levels of customer satisfaction and maximize service success,” said Mark Fowlie, CEO, AudienceView. “AV Pro was created to provide organizations with the flexibility of a software as a service model combined with a major leap forward with technology. We’re excited to continue leading the industry through innovation, this time with a new subscription model and transparent pricing.”
The second product, AV Go, assists clients in running one-time events or year-round ticketing or e-commerce shops. It enables clients to independently sell and scan tickets, set their own pricing and service fees, and sell merchandise and concessions with a single program.
“It has been frustrating to see so many organizations prefer AudienceView to other options, yet unable to move forward with us for reasons other than product functionality,” said Mike Evenson, VP, Marketing and Product Management, AudienceView. “Our team has worked extremely hard to optimize our deployment and training infrastructure so we could eliminate upfront implementation services and licenses for many types of organizations. AV Pro users will still have access to the great features our current clients enjoy on a daily basis.”
